About Maria

Working in the administrative side of LivYoga since early 2006, Maria is often the first face you’ll encounter when you enter the LivYoga Studio.  Inspired by her contact with the LivYoga teachers and their various styles, Maria completed LivYoga’s first teacher training program  in December 2006.  Formerly a practicing attorney, Maria found yoga helped ease the stress that came with her transition from a professional career to that of full-time motherhood.  “My yoga practice helped me become more at peace with myself, and that peace resonated into my home life and my relationships.”  In addition to her training at LivYoga, Maria has studied with John Friend, Rodney Yee, Gary Kraftskow, Shiva Rea, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, and Amy Weintraub.
