Stress to Bliss

Anyone who wants less stress and more bliss. Previous yoga or meditation experience is not required. One  makeup date will be offered for missed session.

Join yoga therapist and teacher, Liz Irwin and learn a positive way to manage unhealthy stress. This is a workshop explores stress relief through gentle yoga movements, talk and quiet introspection in a supportive group setting.  Different areas of consciousness are explored (such as how to create choice, or acceptance) during each 2 and ½ hour session. Participants cultivate a profound listening to their thoughts and the causes of stress and find practical ways to relax and cope.  

This program includes:

  • A weekly 2 ½ hour session for 4 consecutive Sundays of movement, meditation and group discussion
  • One day retreat at a local venue (date to be determined by the group)
  • A Guidebook for the program
  • Audio CD’s to keep and use at home
  • One private Phoenix Rising Yoga session to build on the group experience
