Join yoga therapist and teacher, Liz Irwin and learn a positive way to manage unhealthy stress. This is a workshop explores stress relief through gentle yoga movements, talk and quiet introspection in a supportive group setting. Different areas of consciousness are explored (such as how to create choice, or acceptance) during each 2 and ½ hour session. Participants cultivate a profound listening to their thoughts and the causes of stress and find practical ways to relax and cope.
This program includes:
- A weekly 2 ½ hour session for 4 consecutive Sundays of movement, meditation and group discussion
- One day retreat at a local venue (date to be determined by the group)
- A Guidebook for the program
- Audio CD’s to keep and use at home
- One private Phoenix Rising Yoga session to build on the group experience
