Session 1: Muladhara Chakra (root chakra) - How grounded are you in key aspects of your life? Ever a bit vulnerable or even somewhat greedy? This chakra “gets things in order.”
Session 2: Swadhasthana Chakra - Ever a bit out of touch with your feelings or resistant to change? How is your creativity? This chakra “goes with the flow.”
Session 3: Manipura Chakra - Are you too much of a perfectionist or maybe more angry than you’d like? This chakra is all about “sense of self” and your self esteem.
Session 4: Anahata Chakra (heart chakra) - Ever have pain in your heart or even a hard time breathing? Do your shoulders round? A bit lonely? This chakra is "house of love"
Session 5: Vishuddha Chakra - Ever get a stiff neck or tight shoulders? Or just a bit shy? Do you say “yes” when you really mean “no?” Welcome to “communication command center.”
Session 6: Ajna Chakra (third eye) - Do you get headaches or had just one too many nightmares? Or maybe your memory isn’t as sharp as you’d like? Ajna Chakra is “the essence of your being/intuition.” Sahasrara Chakra (crown chakra) - Ever a bit too materialistic, yet still not so happy? Maybe you’re overly determined or you think you are a member of the intellectually elite? This chakra is the “essence of your being.”

What’s a Chakra Anyway?

Chakra is Sanskrit for wheel. Wheel of radiating energy center, located along our sutle bodies’ energy super highway that runs along our spines. While we have many more than seven primary chakras or energy centers within our body, this immersion series focuses on the primary seven starting from our root and working up to the crown of our head. You’ll learn how to help unblock chakras and how to reduce excess energy from chakras through creative journaling, chanting and asana. Each immersion class promises at least one hour of yoga sadhana (practice).
