The mission of the LivYoga Teacher Training Certification Program is to provide students with a deeper understanding of the depth and breadth of Hatha Yoga styles and traditions, including Vinyasa flow, Viniyoga, Kripalu, Anusara, Restorative, and more. With the support, education, tools and techniques of several methodologies, teacher trainees will leave this training as empowered teachers and students of yoga who have their own voice—hence meeting their students’ or own personal needs on several levels.

This unique training regimen encompasses the exploration, methodology, philosophy and knowledge of different yoga systems. It will be a springboard to educate teachers to think on their feet, offer quality and safe yoga programs, and set a strong foundation on which they can build. We would like trainees to come away from this comprehensive program with a better sense of what it means to be ‘living’ yoga vs simply ‘doing’ yoga.

Class now forming!

While training is extensive and intense, we at LivYoga understand that very few students can drop their lives for training, so we have designed the schedule with ‘flexibility in mind.’ It is recommended that you attend all classes with your fellow classmates, however we understand that life happens...Should you need to miss a session, you may make up the session with the following class. (Note that future classes are not guaranteed). Please discuss any potential scheduling conflicts with Director prior to registering.
LivYoga teacher training has a intense focus on practice teaching. Required hours will include spending time practice teaching in open studio hours with an experienced teacher. There will be some flexibility in this scheduling. Open times will vary to accommodate group. The remaining hours to complete the program can be done anytime within the following year. You will turn in your logs, research paper, CPR certificate, take your test at your discretion and, upon review, you will receive your certificate. So you determine when you complete the program!
